Now offering Surf Fishing Lessons!
Fish Brevard now offers personal surf fishing lessons for
people interested in learning how to successfully fish beaches
along Florida's east coast.
East coast beaches differ from Florida's west coast beaches in
wave intensity, fish species and necessary tackle. High energy
beaches, like those found in Brevard and Indian River
counties, can be challenging even for experienced anglers.
Our two hour personal fishing lessons are held on public
access beaches in Brevard County.
Surf Fishing lessons include.
Optional instruction:
Filleting fish.
Using a cast net.
Targeting specific species.

Optional instruction:

Two hour personal instruction session - $60 For one person - Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. We offer a 20% discount for an additional person extending the two hour lesson to 2.5 hours. Add an hour of personal instruction - $20 Add an hour onto your lesson for more one-on-one time to polish casting, practice knot tying or optional instruction such as using a cast net or filleting fish. Give yourself as much time as you need to become confident in the surf. Three Hour Family session - $140 For up to four people. (Children younger than 10 years of age may have difficulty handling and casting cumbersome surf rods.) |
| Our Summer Classes are held mornings and afternoons Monday through Sunday. We Bring: All necessary tackle and bait. You Bring: Sunglasses (polarized if possible) Sunscreen (20 or stronger and apply before the beach for the best protection) 20 oz. or larger bottle of Water. Beach shoes - sandals or flip-flops. Comfortable clothing, shorts are advised. Folding chair (if desired). |

| Florida residents do NOT need a saltwater fishing license to fish from the beach. Non-residents over the age of 16 need a saltwater fishing license. |

| Special for Schools and Groups - 6 Week Group Lessons For Grades 6 through 12 Minimum class membership - 3 students, maximum - 8 students. Group Class Package - $125 per student. We provide students with surf gear for the first lesson - when a list of standard surf gear will be provided. For successful learning, students need to practice between lessons and will need their own tackle. Call us for more details. |
